COTTON BOWL - Oklahoma State vs. Mississippi

Here are the following players to keep your eye for the 2010 NFL Draft in the COTTON BOWL.

OT Russell Okung, Oklahoma State – Okung right now looks like a sure fire top 10 pick and the first offensive tackle drafted in the 2010 NFL Draft. Okung is a durable player, and he has started as a true freshman. He is a good athlete, with good lateral mobility which allows him to be a very good pass protector. He has quick feet and fluid movement, and also possesses a mean streak that scouts look for in offensive linemen. Coming from the spread offense that Oklahoma State runs, Okung will need to improve as a run blocker. He also needs to get stronger in the weight room.

CB Perrish Cox , Oklahoma State - Cox has good size a 6-0 200 pounds and is not only a good cover cornerback, but a willing tackler. He has good speed and shows that off as a very good return guy. He has the ability to play both man to man and zone coverage as a cornerback. Right he looks like a 2nd round draft pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

RB Keith Toston, Oklahoma State – Toston has really improved his draft stock this season, with the lost of Dez Bryant to a NCAA suspension he has been the focal point of the offense. Toston has good size at 6-0 214 and has put up some good stats this season. He has also caught 22 passes for 211 yards. The biggest question mark is going to be his straight line speed and right now looks like a 5th round pick.

QB Zac Robinson, Oklahoma State - Robinson plays in a spread offense that so much of college football is going to, and which makes it hard for NFL personal to really get a true evaluation on what a quarterback can do at the next level. One things Robinson is a good athlete and can move in the pocket to give himself time to get the ball down field and has a strong arm. He hasn’t had the season that many people thought he would have and some of the reason is because of the NCAA suspension of his top receiver Dez Bryant. Right now has a free-agent grade.

OG Andrew Lewis, Oklahoma State – Lewis has the ability to play both guard and center and has decent size at 6-4 295 pounds. Does a good job in pass blocking, but needs to get a little stronger in run blocking and that will come in time because of the offense that he plays in. He has good feet and is a good overall athlete. Right now he looks like a 7th round pick.

S Andre Sexton, Oklahoma State – Sexton has played linebacker and safety at Oklahoma State, he has good size at 6-0 224 and will be projected as a safety at the next level he is a good overall athlete, but needs to improve his coverage skills but is a good tackler. Right now has a free-agent grade.

S Lucien Antoine, Oklahoma State – Antoine is a physical safety and will come up and hit you. Has good size at 6-1 215, but needs to improve his coverage skills. Will be a in the box type safety at the next level. Right now has a free-agent grade.

OLB Patrick Lavine, Oklahoma State – Lavine has been a constant for OSU over the last three seasons, he finished second on the team in tackles as a freshman and sophomore and fourth as a junior. Lavine has a safety in high school and skill has good coverage skills for an outside linebacker and has decent size at 6-2 226 pounds. He needs to add some weight to play at the next level. Right now has a free-agent grade.

Mississippi:
OG John Jerry – Jerry is one of the better guards in the country and does a good job in the passing game and the running game. He has good size at 6-5 350 and has a 5th round grade.

OG Reid Neely – Neely is a good run blocking offensive guard with great size at 6-6 310 pounds. Right now he has a free-agent grade.

WR Dexter McCluster – McCluster is a small, quick player who can be a threat as a runner, receiver, and in the return game. He doesn’t have great size but make ups with his athletic ability. He has a 4th round grade right now.

WR Shay Hodge – Hodge is good overall receiver that has good size at 6-0 207, he does a nice job but doesn’t do anything special. Right now has a 6th round grade.

DE Greg Hardy - Hardy is a very good defensive end, but has injury issues have hurt his ability to show what he can do. He is a good 4-3 defensive end and because of injuries his draft stock has slipped. Right now he has 2nd round grade.

S Kendrick Lewis – Lewis has come on this season and has decent size at 5-11 195 pounds. He has shown very good ability to support the run, and can get deep in zone coverage. Right now has a 6th round grade.
