Temple's Pro Day

Here are the Pro Day results for the guys who played in the Texas vs. the Nation game from Temple.

Temple LB Alex Joseph at his Pro Day measured in at 6000 238 ran the 40-yard dash in the 4.59 seconds. He measured a 33-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-11 inch broad jump, and did 21 reps of 225.

Temple DT Andre Neblett at his Pro Day measured in at 6000 297 ran the 40-yard dash in the 4.96 seconds. He measured a 30.5-inch vertical jump, and did 33 reps of 225.

Temple TE Steve Maneri at his Pro Day measured in at 6071 264-pounds ran the 40 in 4.81 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.51 seconds. He measured a 28-inch vertical jump, and did 23 reps of 225.

  1. Sleeper at Temple pro day: Marques Slocum (formerly of Michigan/Eastern Arizona) 6'4+, 347lbs, 5.2 40yd, 33 reps @ 225lbs, 7.7 three cone, 35 inch arms. As big as T.Cody but much faster, stronger, quicker, and more athletic. Go to youtube: enter Marques Slocum (see highlights).

  2. Andre Neblett is a workhorse guy with great character. I'm hoping the Eagles grab him!

  3. The Maneri kid is some blocker, and has a great body frame to bulk up. Excellent technique, but never really got a chance to show his pass catching skills with the Temple Offense

  4. Alex Joseph is a former DB and uses that speed at linebacker. This guy at the very least can play some special teams right away. This guy put on 40 pounds coming out of high school and still runs a 40yd time of under a 4.6.

He's played in 4-3 mostly, but with his speed and size he can play in any system...that alone of course doesn't qualify him, but the attributes are there.

take into account he's only been playing linebacker for four seasons....

  5. andre is a great person and i am happy he's playing in the nfl. good luck to Andre and family
