Draft Digest: Tuesday Night Football

Tonight's game is Ball State at Western Michigan, there is really only two seniors to keep your eye for the 2010 NFL Draft and they both play for Western Michigan. They are QB Tim Hiller, and RB Brandon West.

QB Tim Hiller, Western Michigan (SR) - He has good size for a quarterback at 6-4 230 and can make all the throws that will be ask of him at the next level. He is mostly a pocket passer but is a good enough of an athlete to move around and avoid the rush, but isn’t much of a runner. He should go to the Texas vs the Nation All-Star game and hopeful that will help improve his stock. Right now carries a 6th round grade.

RB Brandon West, Western Michigan (SR) - He is a smaller framed running back at 5-10 185, but does have some quickness and speed and has the ability to catch the football. He looks like a third down running back and a possible return guy at the next level. A lot will depend on his workout numbers and what he runs in the 40 since his game is based on speed and quickness. So far it doesn’t look like he will get invite to an All-Star game or the combine. Right now carries a 7th round to free-agent grade.
