2010 NFL Mock Draft

1. St. Louis (1-15) - QB Jimmy Clausen, Notre Dame - I think unless the Rams are able to trade this pick they will draft a quarterback to rebuild the team around. Right now Clausen is ahead of Sam Bradford of Oklahoma.

2. Detroit (2-14) - DT Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska – The Lions get the player they want to be able to build their defense around.

3. Tampa Bay (3-13) – DT Gerald McCoy, Oklahoma – Tampa Bay really wants Suh, but McCoy is just slightly behind him in talent.

4. Washington (4-12) - QB Sam Bradford, Oklahoma – Mike Shanahan wants his own quarterback to start over with and when it all said and done it could be the Clausen goes here and Bradford goes number one overall.

5. Kansas City (4-12) – S Eric Berry, Tennessee – Berry might be the best overall athlete in this years draft and the Chiefs need help in the secondary.

6. Seattle (5-11) – DE Derrick Morgan, Georgia Tech – Pete Carroll is a defensive guy and Morgan is the best defensive end in this years draft.

7. Cleveland (5-11) - ILB Rolando McClain, Alabama – McClain played in the 3-4 defense in college and will be a perfect addition with the Browns.

8. Oakland (5-11) - OT Russell Okung, Oklahoma State – You never know what the Raiders are going to do, but they do help on the offensive line and Okung is the best player at that position.

9. Buffalo (6-10) - OT Bruce Campbell, Maryland – We don’t know who the head coach will be yet, but they could use help on the offensive line, I am sure this pick will change.

10. Jacksonville (7-9) - CB Joe Haden, Florida - Haden could be drafted higher, but this would be a perfect pick for the Jaguars if he still left on the board.

11. Denver (7-9) (From Chicago) - WR Dez Bryant, Oklahoma State - Bryant would be a great replacement if Brandon Marshall is traded.

12. Miami (7-9) - DT Brian Price, UCLA – Price will fit perfectly in the Dolphins 3-4 defense and can play nose tackle as well as defensive end the their defense.

13. San Francisco (8-8) – OT Anthony Davis, Rutgers – With the addition of Davis this would give the 49ers a very good offensive line and Davis could play either right of left tackle.

14. Seattle (8-8) (From Denver) – RB C.J. Spiller, Clemson – Seattle will try to use Spiller like Carroll used Reggie Bush at USC.

15. New York Giants (8-8) – S Earl Thomas, Texas – Thomas is a play maker in the secondary that the Giants could use.

16. 49ers (8-8) (From Carolina) – OLB Ricky Sapp, Clemson – The 49ers are looking for a pass rusher and Sapp could provided that in their 3-4 defense.

17. Tennessee (8-8) – DE Carlos Dunlap, Florida – The last time the Titans drafted a defense end out of Florida in the 1st round it turned out well with Jevon Kearse.

18. Pittsburgh (9-7) – OT Bryan Bulaga, Iowa – The Steelers need help on the offensive line and Bulaga is one of the better ones.

19. Atlanta (9-7) – DE Jason Pierre-Paul, South Florida – The Falcons could use help in the pass rush and Pierre-Paul gives that.

20. Houston (9-7) – S Taylor Mays, USC – The Texans got the rookie of year in Brian Cushing from USC in last year draft and will go back to help out the secondary this year.

21. New York Jets (9-7) – NT Dan Williams, Tennessee – The Jets defense will get better will Williams if that is possible.

22. Baltimore (9-7) – WR Damian Williams, USC – Williams will give Joe Flacco a big athletic target in the passing game.

23. Arizona (10-6) - OT Trent Williams, Oklahoma – The Cardinals are hoping that Kurt Warner comes back and if he does they want to make sure that they can protect him.

24. Cincinnati (10-6) - WR Arrelious Benn, Illinois – The Bengals need another wide receiver to go with Chad Ochocinco.

25. New England (10-6) - DT Jared Odrick, Penn State – Odrick is a very smart, versatile defensive linemen and will fit in with the Patriots.

26. Green Bay (11-5) – OT Charles Brown, USC – Brown is an athletic offensive linemen that will be a good fit for the Packers.

27. Philadelphia (11-5) – DE Everson Griffen, USC – Griffen will give the Eagles a defensive end opposite Trent Cole.

28. Dallas (11-5) - G Mike Iupati, Idaho – Dallas is looking for help on their offensive line and Iupati is the best available offensive linemen left.

29. Minnesota (12-4) – CB Kareem Jackson, Alabama – The Vikings need help in their secondary and Jackson provides that.

30. San Diego (13-3) – NT Terrence Cody, Alabama – The Chargers need a young run stuffing nose tackle.

31. New Orleans (13-3) - OLB Navorro Bowman, Penn State – Bowman provides an outstanding overall linebacker for the Saints.

32. Indianapolis (14-2) – TE Jermaine Gresham, Oklahoma – True the Colts have Dallas Clark, but they are always looking for offensive weapons and Gresham is the best player still on the board.
